If there’s one thing I am passionate about, it’s Yoga. I started doing yoga a few years back and didn’t realize how important it was for my body until I began weight lifting (and aging). My body immediately began to feel better (less hip and back pain) and I was able to hit new goals and handle more weight during my lifting days. When Mix on Vine was open, I looked forward our weekly, Monday night, community Yoga class. There was no better way to let go of the stress from the start of the week.
You can imagine my excitement when finding out that Manchester Music Hall (MMH) would be hosting a free, community yoga class: Vino & Vinyasa (aka wine + yoga)! A big, big thank you to Mandy Kiley, of Stream Point Wellness, for teaching at our first class and to Kaelyn, from Lex Effect, for organizing this event. Moving forward this will be hosted at least once a month, but I’m hopeful we can make this a weekly event! Mr. Love Lex (Jesse) got some great shots of Lexington Yogi’s at the first ever MMH Community Yoga.
