As someone who focuses their entire day around what her next meal will be…I was a little disappointed in some of the food options we had in wine country (but seating a party of 8 can be a little difficult without reservations and we were out to see and drink as much as we could). There were two restaurant highlights from our two days in the Napa/Sonoma area…one of which we stumbled upon on our way from Silver Oak to Castello di Amorosa, Gott’s Roadside.
I’m a sucker for a good burger and the curb appeal was on point!
Best known for their burgers, Gott’s american, classic style is right up my alley! Not to mention their love for local sourcing (you guys know how passionate I am about this) and it even extends out to their drinks. Gott’s offers up a pretty extensive list of local California wines and beers.
These picnic tables!!! This St. Helena location does not have an “inside” seating option but who wants to be inside when the sky is bright blue and the sun is shining?!
For her (left): Classic cheeseburger on a sourdough bun. For him (right): The Wisconsin sourdough.
Gott’s was the prefect spot to swing in for a quick, tasty bite. You can also find locations in Napa Valley, San Francisco, and Palo Alto.
