Henry Dry Goods.

Henry Dry Goods.

Do you know why Instagram is by far my favorite form of social media? I love Instagram because I can spend hours surfing photos and hashtags…specifically #sharethelex…and come across so many great local Lexington stores, vendors, and goods. It truly opened my eyes to shopping (and eating) locally and gives me an outlet to share those finds with you!

One of my favorite Instagram finds, Henry Dry Goods.

I specifically remember surfing #sharethelex back around Christmas as I was researching for my holiday shop local week (see the recap here) and came across a photo of this chic monogrammed canvas bag and thought…“What a great bag!” and “That would be a perfect gift!” It was so classic, yet the monogram had a bit of a a modern twist (I’m not typically a monogram fan).

That photo was followed a few days later by another IG post announcing a pop-up market…that I unfortunately was unable to attend. I was very intrigued by this brand…a pop-up market…so on trend… and an awesome classic, carry-forever tote…I absolutely wanted to see more from this collection!

The holiday came and went…another pop-up market came and went…and it wasn’t until another IG account I followed (@cbuxtonart) posted that she was doing a collaboration with Henry Dry Goods that I knew I could no wait no more! These hand-painted flamingos (I have a flamingo obsession…feel free to flamingo my yard at anytime…I would love it!)…on a Henry Dry Goods beach bag…it was too much…I had to have it!

Not only are the products from this brand high quality, the attention to detail blew me away (I’m obsessed with details and have been known to buy things like a winter coat because of the striped inside lining). Sherri, the owner and designer behind Henry Dry Goods, is one amazing woman and I am honored to get to share her brand on Love Lexington. She was kind enough to invite me into her home to see some of the goods first-hand (since I missed the last pop-up market) and allowed me to oh-and-ahhh for a good hour over everything that I wished I could take home with me. Good news for you…I brought my camera along and have lots of photos to share of the products available from Henry Dry Goods.

Andwait for it….

There is a pop-up market this Saturday!

See what I mean about that monogram twist? Isn’t it fabulous?!

I spy with my little eye a fur clutch!

There’s my flamingos! Featured on the beach bag series and hand painted by Christina Buxton: the turtle, flamingos, lobster and the octopus.

Yes, that is a monogrammed dress…I kinda wanna wear it (all day, every day.)

These clutches with that brown, worn leather…oh I can’t even take it they are so perfect!

Henry Dry Goods also features throw pillows (seen above and two photos below).

It’s all in the details…xoxo HENRY.

Which piece are you oohing and ahhhing over?

I am proud to say that these bags have been handmade by my mother 🙂 she is a very talented seamstress and has been working alongside Sherri to produce these bags. My mothers hand and talent are instilled in these bags. <3 Her hard work definately shows off once the bags are finished.
