Hats. Hats. Hats.

Hats. Hats. Hats.

Hats. Hats. Hats.

Small house living is still a challenge at times! One that I’m slowly conquering….

Organizing and figuring out how to store and/or decorate with those items has been slightly challenging. Our Kentucky house was built in 2013 and each bedroom room had a walk-in closet (oh how I miss those big closets). Our master closet was complete with a shoe wall, jewelry hooks and holders, and room beyond room for both of our clothes.

My office in our Alabama house also serves as my closet/vanity room (our bathroom is tiny!). I’ve always loved the look of hats as wall decor but it just didn’t fit in our modern KY home. Here in AL it absolutely works and it gives me somewhere to put these guys. I’d love to add a few new hats to this collection on the main wall (and probably will after burning my part last weekend in NY).

I’m still figuring out if I like the layout of this room (I added a new chair to the desk but it’s not my favorite…not pictured here) and I almost feel the rug needs to be larger and maybe relocate my “get ready” gear down to our larger basement bathroom. I 100% need to find a sort of storage for my office stuff and get the clutter off my desk. I swear it just keeps adding up (bills, notes, papers, just never find a home).

I do love that Beau loves to come lay on the rug with me in the mornings while I get ready. He literally follows me everywhere in the mornings before I head off to work (how sweet is that??)

We finally got our living room rug, chairs, and small table top decorations in. I’ll be styling and taking photos this week to share with you all.
