Who’s excited for Breeders cup?? I am …sort of! I am unfortunately not attending any of the races (long story…) but I am excited for Lexington to get the chance to host this event and all the hard work going on around the city to get “Breeders Cup” ready.
A few weeks back I got shoot with Fashion at the Races (FATR) and LymanDVM to put together a Breeders Cup Style Guide and now it’s out! Come see it here. The guide is full of great looks from Bella Rose Boutique, great places to eat while you are in Lexington, tips on surviving a cold race day, and more!
I’m used to shooting everyday lifestyle photos so it was fun to put on my “model hat” for this shoot.
Christine: Dress c/o Bella Rose, Hat Studio 910
Meet Bri, the beauty behind Fashion at the Races. This jumpsuit is not the traditional race day attire, but would be a god send on a cold, fall October day. While most will say ladies should be in a dress for Breeders cup, I think a fashion forward piece like this jumpsuit, paired with fur and a fascinator is pure perfection and right up my alley! I’m not a fan of freezing…ever…for anything!
What will you be wearing to Breeders Cup? Per the FATR style guide, your accessories will be just as important as your outfit and something I would not have thought of! Especially if mother nature gives us a chilly day because you may not even take your coat off.
Thank you to LymanDVM for laughing with me and not at me…and of course the great photography, Bella Rose Boutique for the perfect Breeders Day looks, and FATR for putting together this style guide for the Breeders Cup.
