I thought it would be fun to share a non-alcoholic drink with you this week. I’m probably too obsessed with making this smoothie because it’s as close to a Blue Suede Shoes from The Weekly Juicery as I can get. It’s easy to alter and test out different fruits or add greens if you chose.

What you need:

  1. 1 cup blueberries
  2. 3/4-1 cup coconut milk
  3. 1 banana
  4. 2 tbsp almond butter
  5. Cinnamon

(I purchased everything I need from Trader Joes for about $22 and it makes at least 4 smoothies…with lots of Almond Butter still left for more).

Pull out your blender and let’s get started.

Drop in one cup of blueberries (I prefer the frozen blueberries for a thicker consistency).

Add in 1-2 spoons of Almond Butter (I like 2 spoons bur Jesse only likes 1 spoon).

Peel + Slice up your banana to drop in. Mix in one cup of Almond Milk

Blend away! I put my setting on “smoothie” for a few pulses, push some of the fruit at the top down and then blend more.

Next, dash in a good 4-5 dashes of cinnamon for an unexpected burst of flavor! Blend again.

Pour into a glass and enjoy!
